This is personal preference but this is what I do.

I use mostly 2 Seam Fastballs because they have more horizontal movement than the Sinkers. If you look at Brooksbaseball.net, almost all Sinkers have greater horizontal movement than vertical movement. If they have more Vertical movement, I give them a Sinker. Also, when you edit a 2 Seamer, you can get the MPH higher than with a Sinker.

Same thing with Circle-Change. If you look at the numbers, most pitchers have a lot more horizontal movement than Vertical movement on their Change-ups.

I am plugging away on my edits for 2021 season. I think I have 12 teams done so far. You can click on the link on the first page. 2021 edits are on tab 6.

Just a quick update.

I only have the N.L. West left and then I will be finished.

If you notice a pitcher that has no edits, it's because they do not have any pitch data listed for 2021 on Brooksbaseball. Not sure why. The dashboard page, which you can look up individual games, is not working.

Should be finished in about a week.

Just wanted to post an update.

My 2021 pitch edits are finished. The link is on the front page and the edits are under TAB 6.

There were some pitchers who did not have any pitch data listed, or Brooksbaseball.net had their hitting data and no pitching data. (Weird). They have blank lines on the spreadsheet.

If Brooksbaseball.net ever updates their pages, I will add them. Or maybe I can try Baseballsavant and get some of their data. Not very familiar with their site.

Let's hope there is a season this year.

Just a quick update.

I finally finished all of my 2021 pitch edits. Brooksbaseball finally updated some of the pitchers who did not have any data.

It was weird because I would type in a pitcher's name in the search bar and nothing would come up. However, they finally updated their dashboard so I could access individual games from last year. So, I could look up what date a pitcher appeared for their team and all of a sudden, their player card would pop up with their data from 2021.

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy my edits. I just purchased MLB 22 for the PS4 yesterday, so I will start preparing for my franchise.

If anyone is interested, I will be happy to update pitchers who make their MLB debut this year.
