What I figured to do, was use your 2007 Pitch Data, for the 2001 Players. Ideally, I want to use this 25-Man roster to simulate forward, and pull stats for players.

Then, use other rosters to create a deeper roster, like 60-70-Man depth. It all starts with getting this RBU roster from 2001 on MLB 19/20. I will then add pitch edits and that roster will serve as base for players with service time + career stats, ranging from 1998-2008.

Sounds like a big project. Good luck. Glad my edits could help.

Will you have edits from 2020 for this year too? Idk if you’ve already worked on them or not but I’d love if you did them again! Importing them into my roster is a necessity.

What's up KKralle7277! Hope you're doing well.

I completed my pitch edits for 2020. They are listed on the 1st page of the thread under the 2nd link. 2020 data is on tab 5 in the spreadsheet.

If you're willing to provide me a list of pitchers who get called up to the Majors like you have the past couple of years, than yes, I would be happy to provide ratings for them.

Once I get the game, I will have to practice with them and see if I have to make any adjustments.

Re: MBMavs20 Pitch Edits 2007-2019

Hey here are the debuts this year plus guys who didnt pitch more than a few innings (or at all) in the majors in 2020.
Idk what is going on with Brooks baseball as they don’t seem to have any 2021 data up yet (hopefully that changes by the time you’ve seen this) but figured I’d put these up for now & just keep editing it to add players until you see it.
Baseballsavant.mlb.com has the pitch data the day after they pitch so hopefully Brooks gets it together.

Re: MBMavs20 Pitch Edits 2007-2019

Hey it’s been awhile since you last posted here mbmavs, I hope things are going well. I’ve been updating the list for every new pitcher or pitcher who skipped last year, so no hurry or anything but would be awesome if you found some time to do their pitch edits! I still don’t know if brooks baseball is up and running for this years pitches though, so if that’s the reason why you haven’t been able to do any edits, then I completely understand.

I am doing well kkralle77. You’re right about brooksbaseball, they don’t have any pitch data for 2021 yet. If they don’t update their data, I might have to check out a different website(s) like Baseball Savant or Texas Leaguer.

Damn. Baseball savant is great, I use it to complement your edits & see how much things differ & they’re fairly close for the most part. It uses pitch movement including gravity but it shouldn’t be too hard to adjust to, as it also has their movement on average compared to other pitches within the same velocity band (+|- 3 I think) & release point/extension. Also brooks does have an option to view with gravity as well so maybe you could try to compare theirs with baseball savant & see how it is. Or look at a certain pitcher as an example to see how your ratings would crossover there. Just a few ideas.
