Actual full minors roster

Hey all. Ok, so I'm gonna put my roster that i've been working on for the past week up in the vault in a couple mins. Here's what I did:

-ALL fake players have been replaced with real ones(this includes FA)
-Removed all the legends and replaced them with actual FA
-Added A LOT of missing players(no really, A LOT). Maybe close to 200? Didnt really keep track.
-Tried to get the 40 man rosters as close as possible. Hard right now with teams not making many moves due to what's going on in the world and all.
-Updated transactions
-Tried to balance out the rosters best I could. Some teams still have an abundance at certain positions thou

Things I didnt do:
-Didnt re-rate any players or potentials
-Didnt use the newest roster update. Which means the options bug is still present.
-Didnt make sure every team had their "top however many" prospects.

This was a roster that was going to be for me. I was on vacation this week and had time. I did see people looking for one though, so I thought why not? I know Ridin and Co. are gonna drop a banger of a roster any day now, which will most likely be far superior to mine. There is so much more I can do but alas, I be just one fella. So, for those that dont wanna wait til they drop theirs, feel free to download mine. If you see anyone really major that should be in, let me know. Thanks, enjoy!

Good work, Brian. This is the best set I have found in the Vault and I have looked about 20 so far. Most of them have issues like ratings jacked up too high for players, mistakes in edits, names, minors hit/miss. This one is very solid and franchise ready.

Was looking for one to get a franchise going. I do know Ridin makes great rosters but when you want to get one going you want to get one going! I'm sure they will drop one in a few days, but then will need to drop another to edit that one. Stressing over rosters, sliders, waiting for everything to be perfect can be stressful, cause overthinking on franchises.

What's the options bug?

A lot(all?) of the prospects Sony added in this year have 0 or only 1 option. The workaround is 30 team control, which is what I do. I only use it to reverse transactions that shoulnt have happened due to that issue

These look great Brian as I am waiting to start franchise as well. I do have a stupid question though. Does everyone do the full control over the rosters during their franchise? I noticed if you do that there’s no trades or anything. Just the moves up and down. So I guess my question is while I would like to go through and set every teams lineups to matchup to real life I kinda like the aspect of trading and computer trading with each other. How do trades and transactions work through the game if they are turned off with total roster control in franchise? Sorry if this is a dumb question. Kinda new to the game and I don’t understand the roster control part haha.

You have to set up a second "dummy" profile. Set the other teams that you dont want to control to that profile and then set all the settings to auto. The cpu will do what it pleases. If something happens that you feel is unrealistic, you can switch whatever setting to manual and undo it

Its in the main menu. Under user profile, or settings or something to the effect. Im not looking right at it at the moment, so Im not 100% sure. Should be last tab over thought I belive. If not, just google "mlb the show 30 team control". There is most likely a guide or tutorial out there that can explain it better and more in depth than me

Great set- only problem I noticed is there’s a handful of teams with guys on waivers to start which I’ve found makes them waived automatically when starting franchise and some are decent guys too- Woj. on Balt, Clippard And Bailey on Min. There’s probably guys out there who know an easier workaround/ I’ve been trying to trade them to other teams and then back again to kick the W off from their names but to no avail.

Yeah, I couldnt figure out how or why that happened, so I just had to roll with it. It definitely irked me. I cant ever recall that happening in a roster outside of francise, or any mode for that matter. I got luckily and none of them got claimed(in fact I never even checked if they were still on waivers)when I started my franchise.

I think what happened was I moved all the Single A guys up so I could move them to free agents and since Davis had zero options the W appeared. been doing this for years and it's the first that ever happened

Yeah. I've been editing rosters for years and this is the first time I can ever remember something like that happening outside of an actual mode. Its very strange.

Thanks. Wish I had the time to fix it with the roster update. Sadly, i dont. It does suck, but I'm just sticking with them.

If anyone is still using/liking my roster(despite the options issue) I just updated it with a few transactions and made sure every team had their top 10 prospects. And also imported the new SECA players to it

Update: Uploaded a better V2. Added some more missing vets, found a couple fake players I missed from before, and did some 40 man work.
