Does Ridin's roster edit ratings or it just the last SDS roster update ratings?

Traditionally they don't change player ratings from the base roster, at least not at the major league level. I can't remember if they changed prospects in the minor leagues or not last year, it was the first year SDS included real minor leaguers in the base roster, and I honestly barely played the game last year.

If I remember correctly another group of roster makers used to edit the ratings.. Used to be called hybrid osfm etc. I think.

Yea there's a bunch of different people who do edits but Ridin and team doesn't. They kind of mentioned in the streams that the ratings are way more accurate than most people would think and he kinda mentioned not to look at the overalls.

I don't really understand why Overalls are still a thing in sports games at all. At most, it should be like a grade. The difference between an 89 and a 90 right fielder can really just come down to what you personally value in that spot. If you prefer more defense, it may be one player, if you prefer overall hitting, it may be another, and if you like more versatility it could be another. Overall ratings in sports games haven't made sense in a long time imo.
