Well done and riveting. I agree with many of your points but the one thing I believe you miss is that everybody is different. It takes a patient, unique talent to make rosters. But that does not mean that roster creating talent translates over to good public relations.
OS is the only place I come for answers to roster updates. If I find an answer, I am happy cuz I dont start my franchise until they are out. And if I dont find an update, I am too intimidated to ask cuz of the backlash. Thank you for your wonderful post. Plz note this is not slamming the roster folks. I wish I had that talent, time and patience to do it myself. So with a lack of information, I just deal with it and chalk it up to not disturbing the brilliant, quirky scientist while he's working in the lab.

How crazy would it be for you to approach a homeless person and say "hey I'm gonna grab you McDonalds, what would you like?" and they express their gratitude by asking you "how long is it gonna take? Im hungry, hurry up and get me a burger now. And update me once its ordered" . What if you give someone a ride somewhere and they pepper you with " can you hurry up, I need to be somewhere, don't drive like that " . Just my two cents.

Never once have I demanded anything. But I’ve been around long enough to see how these rosters handled and have seen, on many occasions, people get royally flamed for asking when they’re coming out or some other repetitive question. When I did rosters I was never short, never snarky, and never annoyed when someone asked for an update. But that’s just me.

And again, I expect these responses, this isn’t my first rodeo on this matter at OS. I’ve been around a long, long time.

Minor league roster guy collabs with SCEA but minor league rosters have many errors. If roster guy didn't collab with SCEA y'all would be all up in SCEA. Nothing wrong with calling out a roster that is poor in quality...sort of like there is nothing wrong with calling a fat person fat. Don't be so sensitive...lots of snowflakes falling in these forums.

Like someone else said in this thread earlier, I’m very surprised ( it perhaps shouldn’t be) that birthdays aren’t used. It would seem that would be the most logical thing to do so that future rosters would be more easily to make accurate regarding age.

Also, I’m assuming the rosters from Ridin will have incorrect prospect ages since they’re based on the default MLB 21 roster. Unless I’ve missed something perhaps.

This proves the kind of sick human you are. There is nothing wrong with calling a "fat person fat"? . Thats one of the most egregious things I've ever heard. I pray that you don't have children.

I agree. And the ages will be off for the Sony prospects. They would have to make generic players in order to get the correct age. Would people prefer the facescan and player card (some prospects) or generic created prospects with the correct age?
