Does anyone have any solid HOF sliders for this year so far? If not, I’ll patiently wait for Cycloniac and the rest of the TrueSim sliders.

Thanks everyone!

Funny you should mention it because I just made the decision to go full A&S sliders for a run. I’ve always been put off by classic pitching but I now think it’s the move to get realistic stats and results.

Appreciate the feedback!

A&S’s set isn’t for everyone….it’s hardcore, but for the baseball purist out there his slider set and game settings are hard to beat.

It may take awhile, but trust the settings and sliders. After 15+ games I think you’ll never look anywhere else.

Too many strikeouts, so I will have to tune that

One area of improvement I wanted to focus on this year is pitch edits. I like them and how we've done them in the past, but worked on tweaking the calculations so great individual pitches stand out more, and pitchers feel more unique.

e.g.

Adam Wainwright
Last Year

Sinker (89 mph, 48 control, 40 break)
Sweeping Curve (74, 61, 59)
Cutter (85, 51, 58)
Four-Seamer (89, 56, 48)

This Year

Sinker (89 mph, 77 control, 74 break)
Sweeping Curve (74, 71, 92)
Cutter (85, 61, 62)
Four Seamer (89, 60, 23)
Circle-Changeup (83, 50, 13)

Zack Britton

Last Year

Sinker (95 mph, 59 control, 51 break)
Slider (81, 66, 46)
Two-Seamer (95, 56, 57)

This Year

Sinker (93 mph, 99 control, 99 break)
Slider (80, 68, 56)
Two-Seamer (93, 39, 26)
Cy will the changes (lower attributes) to the secondary pitches negatively affect the pitchers' era when simming? I am not sure how the CPU decides what pitches to throw in sim but was curious if it would give more weight to the primary pitch.

I can speak from extensive experience of testing the game:

It for some reason does not seem to matter what pitch values are when simming. 0 velocity/control/movement seemingly has the same numbers as 99 velocity/control/movement

Its a weird thing that should not be the case, but yet here we are smh

How well do these mesh with the Cy’s roster? Never tried them before but just read more about those sliders and they certainly sound interesting.
