All-Star, almost default

I've been playing again lately and just wanted to share this in hopes that it helps others find some enjoyment out of this game. I have tried every slider set in these forums and multiple versions of my own. Each set has their own positives and negatives. Mostly I would find that I was winning too much, or the CPU was hitting batters, or just something would feel Off about the game for me.

I recently went back to default All-Star with minimal adjustments, ironically the same thing I did for NBA 2k23, and I am having a blast and plan to begin the Show 23 with the same setup.

All-Star
Clean Screen
Directional hitting
Classic Pitching
auto fielding and baserunning - makes for an equal playing field. You also still have input on baserunning if you wish
Fisheye hitting view
Broadcast pitching view

Human Timing - 4
Human Pitcher Consistency - 4
CPU Contact - 6
CPU Timing - 6
Fastball pitch speed - 8
Offspeed pitch speed - 8

Yes, Human Timing affects the player no matter which hitting option you are using.

Man, I came back to 22, so much I love with it, but I went back to 20 for a bit for on the field gameplay. I just kept wanting more 22 for many other reasons, and this setup has finally allowed me to have variety of games and hits. Not just HRs and SO like before. Thanks!

Yes, but I would honestly recommend moving on from 22 to 23. myself and many others are playing 23 using direction hitting, timing pitching, and clean screen with Legend/Legend Default sliders and the game is playing phenomenal!!!

Well done---Thank you for this, probably how I am going to go. Apart from the Pitch Speed---I had to slow things down as they seemed that fast (for my 52 Year Old Eyes)---I went from curly hair to bald in a week lol
