Looking for experienced advice on sliders, etc

So this is my first year playing The Show in several, so I would consider myself "new" at this point. So far I've been playing with the dynamic difficulty setting and getting mixed feelings about it. Some games I get lots of hits (12-15) other games I struggle to get 5. Same with runs although I haven't scored more than 6 yet. Pitching and fielding are set to the same and I'm having good games so far.

My question is, should I continue playing with the dynamic difficulty settings or pick a slider set and get used to that? If I should pick a slider set, can you recommend one for a newbie like myself?

TNK and Armors are popular. Understand too that baseball games contain a lot of variety, so don't be too discouraged by discrepancies--different pitchers sometimes is enough.

I think you should let Dynamic Difficulty settle on a difficulty level for you before you touch any sliders. This way, you'll have a basic understanding of your ability before you begin fine tuning.

Once you feel like you've reached the difficulty levels for your play style, take a hard look at how the game is playing and really consider whether or not anything jumps out as needing to be addressed.

My personal opinion is to not jump down the slider rabbit hole unless absolutely necessary. You may never come back. I stopped using other people's sliders a long time ago and don't regret it for a second. I generally use the slider forums as a branching point for advice if I'm noticing a specific problem.

Biggest suggestion I have to anyone who is new to The Show is get accustomed to the PITCH SPEED first and work on the rest second. If you can get the Pitch Speed where you like it you can begin to tweak everything else

          That's good advice.

Heroes - are you playing AllStar with sliders at default? any minor tweaks to certain sliders? Thanks
