Human Starting Pitcher 95% energy

It seems when I have long days between starts without a day off, my hum pitcher starts the game around 90 - 95%, but the cpu seems to always be 100% for the starting pitcher. I currently have both at stamina 5. Is it unfair to raise my starter stam to 6 so he starts at 100% every start? Do real MLB starters always have 100% energy when they start? Meaning, is 5 days really enough rest for them to be full strength in there next start.
