hey y'all - i'm back doing sliders again this year for MLB 16 The Show and i must say - this game plays wonderful out of the box for someone like me who plays very sim-heavy.

this set is designed to see variety in gameplay while also seeing the numbers in the box scores that you see in real life - the beauty of this game is that your gameplay settings can be whatever you'd like.

here's the numbers i've been playing with since just shortly after launch (i excluded the dynamic difficulty slider because i don't use that setting; plus it's personal preference anyway):

human contact - 5
human power - 4
human timing - 0
human foul freq - 3
human solid hits - 5
human starter stamina - 3
human reliever stamina - 4
human pitcher control - 1
human pitcher consistency - 4

cpu contact - 5
cpu power - 4
cpu timing - 0
cpu foul freq - 3
cpu solid hits - 5
cpu starter stamina - 3
cpu reliever stamina - 4
cpu pitcher control - 1
cpu pitcher consistency - 4
cpu strike freq - 4
cpu manager hook - 5
cpu pickoffs - 3

fastball pitch speed - user preference
offspeed pitch speed - user preference
fielding errors infield - 5
fielding errors outfield - 4
throwing errors infield - 5
throwing errors outfield - 6
fielder run speed - 4
fielder reaction - 6
fielder arm strength infield - 5
fielder arm strength outfield - 4
baserunner speed - 4
baserunner steal ability - 8
baserunner steal freq - 6
wind - 7
injury freq - 7
trade freq - 6

use any difficulty -- use any hitting interface -- use any pitching interface -- you get the picture. this is just the base i've been using and have fell in love with over time. i'm still looking into changing some values and am always up for discussion on the sliders -- mainly when it comes to fielding/baserunning

because i know the questions will be asked -- these were designed using hall of fame difficulty, zone hitting and classic pitching (pitch speed 10) -- fielding/baserunning controls are manual -- clean screen all around (no strike zone, no ball marker when pitching, no pitch callout/pitch select screen, etc)

here's a highlight package/box score video for a 1998 exhibition game i played/streamed the other day between the Brewers and the Pirates - i'll leave the link to the full game below if anyone wants to see the sliders in action.

it was a nice road win for the brewers as the bullpen was shaky in the late innings - but bob wickman came in to shut the door. check it out!

Newbie here. Once I modify my sliders, I save them with a file name.

When I play offline Franchise, when do I launch my setup to play with those slider sewtting?

Once in Franchise mode, I don't see an option to LOAD saved data.

I must be missing something here!

go to the last "menu" option in franchise (so R1 all the way to the right) and there is a section named "My Sliders".

from there - you can load/edit sliders into your franchise mode. just a heads up, i have another highlight video/game writeup coming soon - i played/streamed opening day of my #brewers franchise this morning!
