Hey guys good ol' Tomba here. Back with another one for everyone to try out and hopefully enjoy as much as I do. This years MLB The Show is REALLY a game changer. This year more than ever hit variety and fielding actually MATTER. The base game is good enough on it's own but I saw a few things I wanted to adjust so that the game unfolded a little bit better.

Just curious about CPU power at 10, especially with the high HR numbers. Is the thinking here that the high human control and consistency offsets this, since the user can spot their pitches better?

Can you explain to me the purpose of the sliders? I'm sorta new to the concept of sliders and was wondering how it improves experience.

I guess this can be asked of any slider maker.


Sliders in general in any sports game either mean more of or more less of.


In the example of MLB The Show 17 you might want " less of" a cpus success with hitting OR you might want "more of" an advantage say toward "your" playing against the cpu. It varies but at OperationSports us slider makers USUALLY go for making the game more realistic. realistic in terms of getting better true to life stats or cpu reactions that follow more the real life sport.

In years past I know that Pitcher Stamina has been a problem for me at least at the default setting. Do you have an explination for having it so high?

I felt in any mlb the show game from past to present that pitching FEELS better when the user can make the pitch you want.
Stamina being all the way up allows that but does NOT allow a unnecessary advantage towards cpu in this years game
