Chalk that up to a really bad road trip man. That is ugly.

So I'm still on the fence about getting 19. 18 is so good and I'm just chugging along in year 2 of my Braves franchise. I maybe waiting to see your opinion Armor on 19 and if it is that much better before I get. I've never felt like this with the show before but om loving my 18 franchise and how great this game and slider set plays.

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 18 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders

The Phillies have taken Game 3 of the NLCS easily by a score of 9-0! Cole Hamels was lights out in this one pitching 7 scoreless innings. Rhys Hoskins and J.P. Crawford both hit big home runs for the Phillies. It's onto Game 4 at Wrigley Field where Zach Eflin will take on Jose Quintana.

In the ALCS, the Indians currently have a 2 games to 1 lead over the Yankees.

Same, I just do not see any new Franchise mode stuff to make it worth the upgrade.

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 18 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders

The Philadelphia Phillies now stand one win away from a trip to the World Series after an extra inning 5-1 win against the Cubs! Javier Baez got the Cubs on the board first with a home run in the 3rd inning. Rhys Hoskins answered back with a home run of his own in the 6th inning. The game remained tied until the top of the 10th inning when the Cubs bullpen imploded allowing a 3-run home run to Rhys Hoskins (his 2nd of the game) and a solo home run to Domingo Santana. The Cubs went down quietly in the bottom of the 10th inning. Aaron Nola is on the mound in Game 5 looking for his first postseason victory and a chance to take the Phillies to the World Series!

In the ALCS, the Indians and Yankees are both tied at 2 games each.

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 18 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders

I just have no words for Game 5. That one hurt. A lot. The box score says it all. Game 6 will be back at Citizens Bank Park as Jake Arrieta faces off against Jon Lester. A trip for the World Series is there for the Phillies with a victory.

The Yankees have taken a 3 games to 2 lead over the Indians in the ALCS.

What an absolute mess of a game, but THE PHILLIES ARE GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES!!!!!! The Phillies will be taking on the New York Yankees who defeated the Cleveland Indians 4 games to 2 in the ALCS. It will be a rematch of the 2009 World Series.
