Just a quick question. What hitting type are you personally using for this set?
Zone or Directional?
Seems like you are using Zone, but just want to know.
Thanks.
I’ve used your sliders for the past few years and this year was the first trying my hand at HOF difficulty (used to stick to All Star). Played two games of my Yankees franchise so far using these sliders and HOF difficulty and am looking forward to the grind of my season. Game 1 ended in a 6-1 win with only one run coming via the HR. I was patient at the plate and found myself in some deep counts. My success in game one had me getting aggressive in game number two and I paid for it dearly. Double digit strikeouts for my offense and I took an 11-2 bashing. Feel like I’m gonna have to bring my A game every time with this set up. Thanks for all your work on another great slider set!

I agree.....every game feels like a grind and if you aren't sharp, you'll pay....which is awesome
Boston Red Sox (2-2) @ Miami Marlins (3-1) Pitching Matchup - Brian Johnson vs Caleb Smith
The game was scoreless after 3 innings with Smith and Johnson both locating well as Boston had one hit and Miami had yet to put a man on base. Hanley Ramirez jumped on a first pitch fastball from Smith leading off the top of the 4th and drove a high fly ball to CF for a solo HR just over the glove of Brinson who made a leaping attempt at the wall and the Red Sox had a 1-0 lead. Jackie Bradley doubled down the RF line to begin the 5th inning and came in on a RBI single by Christian Vazquez to make it 2-0. Brian Johnson put down a bunt to try and move Vazquez into scoring position but his bunt went right to Anderson who was charging in from 3rd base to start a double play. Mookie Betts was up next and lined a 415 foot rocket into the LF stands for a solo HR to give Boston a 3-0 lead. Lewis Brinson would register the first hit of the night for Miami with 2 outs in the bottom of the 5th when he punched a single to RF and then stole second base. Johnson would strike out Bryan Holaday on a curveball to end the inning and send the game to the 6th with Boston leading 3-0. The Marlins had two on with nobody out in the bottom of the 6th after back to back singles by Rivera and Castro who hit for the pitcher. Johnson would get Cameron Maybin to ground into a 5-4-3 double for two big outs, but Garrett Cooper would rip a ball past the dive of Devers at 3rd base for a RBI single to put Miami on the board and cut the Sox lead to 3-1. Miguel Rojas blooped a single to RF and the Marlins had two on and two outs with Dietrich coming up. Johnson would get out of the jam to finish his night as Dietrich popped up to end the inning with Boston up 3-1 after 6 innings. Boston padded their lead in the top of the 8th as Ramirez tripled to lead off when his sinking liner got past the dive of Maybin and JD Martinez followed with a RBI single to CF making it 4-1. The Red Sox would load the bases with two outs for the pitchers spot in the order and Mitch Moreland would come on to pinch hit but would ground out to Rojas at SS to end the inning. Boston added two runs in the top of the 9th to make it 6-1 and Joe Kelly would be credited with the 6 out save as the Red Sox go on to win 6-1
* The Red Sox take the first of two games in Miami by a score of 6-1 to move over .500 at 3-2 on the season
* Brian Johnson got the start for Boston and did a good job of spotting his pitches as he held Miami hit-less through 4 and 2/3 and would wind up going 6 solid innings to earn the win
* Boston got HRs from Hanley Ramirez and Mookie Betts while JD Martinez drove in 2 RBI
* The Red Sox and Marlins will wrap up this brief two game set tomorrow with Chris Sale taking the mound for Boston and he will be opposed by Jose Urena for Miami

Boston Red Sox (3-2) @ Miami Marlins (3-2) Pitching Matchup - Chris Sale vs Jose Urena
The Marlins jumped out to a 1-0 lead on Chris Sale in the bottom of the 1st inning when Sale left a changeup elevated over the plate and Justin Bour drove it 422 feet into that massive sculpture in CF for a solo HR. The Sox were threatening to get on the board in the top of the 2nd as Sale picked up a bloop single to load the bases with one out and Eduardo Nunez coming up. Nunez would hit a sac fly to RF to pickup a RBI and tie the score 1-1. Andrew Benintendi followed with a double to make it 2-1 and Hanley Ramirez absolutely crushed a fastabll from Urena 433 feet for a 3-run bomb as Boston explodes for 5 runs in the inning to take a 5-1 lead. The Marlins answered in the bottom of the 2nd as they with 4 hits as Holaday and Maybin each picked up RBI knocks in the inning to get the Marlins back in the game at 5-3. Rafael Devers went deep in the top of the 3rd to push the Boston lead to 6-3 and then added a RBI double in the top of the 5th to push the Boston lead to 7-3. Sale settled down after a shaky start in the early going and was in a groove until Brian Anderson went down to get a slider and hammered a solo HR to lead off the bottom of the 6th and cut the Sox lead to 7-4. The Red Sox gave themselves some separation in the top of the 7th as Hanley Ramirez and JD Martinez hit back to back homers to make it a 9-4 game. Matt Barnes and Bobby Poyner finished things off in the late innings as the Sox win 9-4
* The Red Sox offense blasted 4 home runs to power its way to a 9-4 victory and complete the two game sweep of the Marlins in Miami
* Chris Sale struggled with his command at times and did not have his best stuff in this game but was able to gut his way through 7 innings and earn his first win of the season after a no decision on opening day
* Rafael Devers continues to swing the bat well as he finished a triple shy of the cycle going 3 for 5 with his 2nd HR of the year and 2 RBI
* Hanley Ramirez had 2 HR and 4 RBI while JD Martines was 2 for 5 with a double and a HR in the game
* The Red Sox have won 3 straight and have a 4-2 record after opening with 6 games on the road to begin the season. The Sox will have an off day tomorrow before their home opener at Fenway Park as the Tampa Bay Rays come to town

Long time fan and lurker of your sliders thru the yrs. Been mulling over your set & been playing with A&S set since I got the game on Monday. Going to be rolling out my Yankee Franchise using your set this weekend.
