Do you feel that the HOF set is still viable? Cause I know you haven’t been using that in so long I didn’t know if there would need to be any modifications.

The main reason I created a Legend set was that I wanted to work more on the defense side of the ball. Pitching was just too easy on HOF. The hitting sliders were really good though and I can’t really think of anything that was glaringly off about them. I would give them a try.

I have played two games with them so I know it’s a small sample size but I’m hitting the ball better. My avg is .286 which is a little high and my BABIP is .340.
And it may even out but my extra base hits are high at 17%. And the cpu is a little low and getting mostly singles. The cpu is batting .257 and the BABIP is at .340 as well.

Me
Singles: 8 (40%)
Doubles: 9 (45%)
Triples: 1 (5%)
HR: 2 (10%)

CPU
Singles: 15 (83%)
Doubles: 2 (11.1%)
Triples: 0
HR: 1 (5.6%)

I should give these a try for 10 games to see if these balance out. A part of me is feeling that I’m cheating the cpu and wants to go back to legend.

Re: FenwayMac 2018 Legend Sliders

Road trip to Cleveland is not going well as I have dropped the first two on the series and Cleveland is hitting the cover off of the ball. In fact, my pitching staff is allowing .316 BA, .360 BABIP and 12.4 hits per game over the last 10. I need to focus more on my pitching approach and see if I can get my defensive groove back. I figure I will need 40 of the last 60 to make the playoffs.

Re: FenwayMac 2018 Legend Sliders

Does anyone else’s settings in franchise mode just completely go all out of whack out of no where ? I just started playing again and i love these sliders always made it a good challenge but then I’ll turn my PlayStation back on and all of a sudden the computer smokes absolutely every pitch and hitting wise it went from very challenging to putting every pitch you swing at in play? I don’t understand all the sliders are the same and difficulty settings ...

I switched to the legendary sliders and have found them better for my RTTS than the legendary. Might try that for your franchise. I also am using them straight up with analog controls with no adjustments and also liking them better as well.
