Just an update, the sliders in post #1 are producing solid games right now and I think we are getting close to being ready to at least start a franchise
I'm waiting for OSFM to drop and currently getting the sounds of the show packs setup so I'm ready to go once OSFM is out
I will be away next week for a business trip, so won't be posting much 4/15 - 4/19
Will try to get a few more test games in this week
Boston Red Sox (ME) @ Cleveland Indians (CPU) Pitching Matchup - Nathan Eovaldi vs Mike Clevinger
The Red Sox had plenty of chances with men in scoring position in the early innings but Clevinger would work out of trouble each time. Nathan Eovaldi retired the first 10 batters he faced until Jason Kipnis belted a 435 foot HR to RF in the top of the 4th giving the Indians a 1-0 lead after 4 innings. The score remained until the top of the 6th where things fell apart for Clevinger when JD Martinez was hit by a pitch and Rafael Devers launched a 2-run HR to straight away CF to give Boston a 2-1 lead. Jackie Bradley would make it 3-1 as he drove the ball the opposite way to LF for a solo HR
Cleveland would tie the game with 1 out in the bottom of the 7th when Kipnis singled for just the 2nd Indians hit of the game and Eovaldi hung a slider to Jose Ramirez who hammered a 2-run bomb to RF tying the score at 3-3. Tyler Thornburg took over for Eovaldi and got the final two outs of the inning to send the game to the 8th inning tied at 3-3. Tyler Olson retired the Red Sox in order in the top of the 8th. Jake Bauers led off the bottom of the 8th with a double before Thornburg came back to get the next two hitters. Boston would go to Brian Johnson for the lefty on lefty matchup against Leonis Martin and Martin would punch a ground ball up the middle for a big two out RBI single giving Cleveland a 4-3 lead. The Indians would take a 4-3 lead into the 9th inning with closer Brad Hand coming on to try and close it out. Boston would call on Steve Pearce to pinch hit for Swihart leading off the top of the 9th and Pearce would work a full count before driving a ball in the gap to LF for a lead off double. Brock Holt came on to run for Pearce representing the tying run. Andrew Benintendi was up next and he lined a RBI single to CF scoring Holt with the tying run as Hand blows the save and we have a 4-4 game. Hand would get through the rest of the inning and the Indians would come to bat in the bottom of the 9th with a chance to walk off with a victory. Ryan Brasier came on to pitch for Boston and got the first out before a 1 out double by Jose Ramirez. Ramirez would steal 3rd base on what looked like a blown call by the umpire as Devers appeared to slap the tag down before Ramirez touched the bag. The Red Sox would make the decision to intentionally walk Carlos Santana and Hanley Ramirez to load the bases and try to setup a double play or cut down the winning run on a force at the plate. Jake Bauers came up with the bases loaded and one out with a chance to be the hero. Brasier would run a 97 mph fastball in on the hands and Bauers would fight it off and hit a slow chopper to Pedroia who had no shot at a double play and came home with the throw but the ball was hit slow enough to allow Ramirez to beat the throw to home as the Indians walk off with a 5-4 victory
* This was a great game.....had me on the edge of my seat
* Sliders are playing well
* OSFM is set to drop at 9pm EST Friday night, I currently see no reason why the sliders can't be used for Franchise play at this time
Great opening day franchise game with these. Back and forth with the red birds. My bullpen came through and shut them down innings 6-9 allowing me to go into the ninth down 3-4. Cards brought Andrew Miller into close, he hit a batter, walked two, then Yelich singled up the middle for the walk off. Game felt great and exciting.
I’m going to try these TNK. I know you said in a previous post it was okay for directional, that’s what I plan on using. Also the only change I’m making for my personal use is hum timing and hum contact at 5, I’m assuming that wouldn’t throw it off much. I just like the idea of not feeling like I’m not nerfing player attributes if that makes sense?
Curious what your thoughts are on that. Thank you for the slider work! I’ll be sure to give you feedback

I think the 6 pitch speed makes it much more difficult to hit. I started with 5 as well since I hadn’t played the Show since last summer. But now I’ve had to bump it up to keep from making it too easy. I also take a lot fewer walks with 6 so I’ll have to adjust a bit.
