I’m about 14 games in. I’d probably sacrifice some offense for both sides but I’m having a lot of fun using this set. You definitely have to focus every at bat and every pitch.
Boston Red Sox (ME) @ Seattle Mariners (CPU) Pitching Matchup - Chris Sale vs Marco Gonzales
The Red Sox open the season in Seattle against the Mariners at T-Mobile Park. Chris Sale and Marco Gonzales both pitched well and the score was tied 1-1 after 8 innings. Boston loaded the bases with no outs in the top of the 9th but Chasen Bradford would escape unscathed after pinch hitter Rafael Devers hit into a 6-2-3 double play and Andrew Benintendi would fly out to end the inning. The Mariners loaded the bases with one out off Matt Barnes in the bottom of the 9th but Barnes would battle back to strikeout Moore and then got Tom Murphy to fly out ending the 9th and sending the game to extra innings. The Mariners threatened in the bottom of the 10th after Mallex Smith tripled when his sinking liner got past the dive of Jackie Bradley allowing Smith to race to 3rd base with a 1 out triple. Tyler Thornburg would walk Haniger trying to set up the double play and would get Domingo Santana to pop up for a huge 2nd out of the inning. Dan Vogelbach was up next after he came on earlier as a pinch runner for Encarnacion and Vogelbach would go down to get a good pitch from Thornburg and punch it up the middle for the walk off RBI single giving the Mariners a 2-1 victory
* The Red Sox drop the season opener as the offense struggled to produce the big hit despite many chances where they had men in scoring position
* Chris Sale pitched great for Boston but the offense wasted the strong performance from Sale
* The teams will play the 2nd game of this 4 game series tomorrow with Nathan Eovaldi set to face Yusei Kikuchi on the mound

Yusei Kikuchi retired the first 9 batters he faced before falling apart in the top of the 4th as he issued 3 walks in the inning and the Red Sox struck for 5 runs with the big blow coming on a grand slam by Xander Bogaerts to give Boston a 5-0 lead. The Mariners cut the lead to 5-2 in the bottom of the 4th on a 2-run HR by Edwin Encarnacion and knocked Eovaldi out of the game in the bottom of the 5th when they sent 9 men to the plate and scored 4 more runs to take a 6-5 lead. Tim Beckham would add a solo HR off Brandon Workman in the bottom of the 6th to give the Mariners a 7-5 lead. The score remained 7-5 heading into the 9th inning as Anthony Swarzak came on to try and close it out for Seattle. Swarzak retired Nunez for the 1st out before Jackie Bradley crushed a fastball over the CF wall for a solo HR to make it a one run game 7-6. Christian Vazquez flew out to CF for the 2nd out bringing Andrew Benintendi to the plate with the Red Sox down to their final out. Benintendi lined a ball down the RF line for a double to bring Mookie Betts to the plate with two outs and the tying run on 2nd base but Betts would ground out to Healy at 3rd base for the final outs and the Mariners hang on for a 7-6 victory
* The Red Sox fall to 0-2 on the season as they lose a tough one 7-6
* Nathan Eovaldi took the loss as he was tagged for 6 runs in 4.2 innings
* Edwin Encarnacion had a huge night at the plate going 4 for 4 with a HR and 4 RBI for Seattle
* Connor Sadzek picked up the win throwing 3+ innings of hitless relief for the Mariners
* Xander Bogaerts crushed a grand slam and Jackie Bradley hit a solo HR to lead the Red Sox offensive attack

The game was tied 2-2 after 4 innings before the Red Sox pushed 4 runs across in the top of the 5th to take a 6-2 lead with the big blow coming on a 2-run blast to LF by Xander Bogaerts. Seattle would cut the lead to 6-4 in the bottom of the 6th on a two run double by Dee Gordon down the RF line. The Red Sox answered with a run in the top of the 7th to take a 7-4 lead and Boston great work from the bullpen as Brewer, Thornburg and Barnes combined to bridge the game to the 9th inning. Ryan Brasier came on and pitched a 1-2-3 bottom of the 9th to record the save and give the Red Sox their first victory of the season 7-4
* The Red Sox get in the win column to improve to 1-2 on the season
* Seattle suffers their first loss to fall to 4-1 on the season
* Eduardo Rodriguez battled through 5.2 innings on the mound to earn the win
* Xander Bogaerts knocked in 4 RBI and homered for the 2nd straight day going 4 for 4 at the plate. Bogaerts is off to a great start to the season hitting .583 through 3 games with 2 HR and 8 RBI
* Ryon Healy went 3 for 4 with a pair of solo HR for Seattle
* The Red Sox will send Rick Porcello to the mound tomorrow as they wrap up this 4 game series in Seattle

So question. Would this slider set work with directional hitting instead of zone? And has anyone seen a crazy amount of errors? I do my own fielding but I have guys missing grounders in the outfield and dumb stuff like that.

Works fine with Directional hitting
I don't know what to tell you on fielding, I switched to auto field years ago and never went back to manual fielding - I suggest giving it a try for a few games

I just really enjoy playing all of the game. Any suggestions on what I should tweak to Lower that just a bit?
