Does anyone recommend a slider setting that is sort of a hybrid between veteran and all star? Thanks so much!

Play on dynamic difficulty and when you get to Veteran +, pause the game and go to the sliders.. Lower the dynamic slider to 0.

Boom, level between the two.

Then adjust other sliders to your liking.

Does dynamic still occur if you play on a level other than dynamic? Like if I play on vet, it will still adjust dynamic level?

No, it will only be affected by your play on the dynamic setting.

Set the Dynamic Difficulty slider to 10 until you hit Veteran+. Once you reach that zero the dynamic Difficulty slider out and it will stay at that level.
