Ever since I heard one of the devs say in pre launch that realism in The Show is 50-50 if you pitch, hit and field and realism is 100% if you manage only -I was hooked.

Playing The Show in manager mode with a Baseball Prospectus next to me is like playing Stratomatic as a kid but with my imagination beamed in front of me like some holodeck from Star Trek.
Its a slice of heaven and it could be even SO much better!

1-dont give me just the pitch location choice... let me decide what pitch he throws
2-Bring back sounds of the show!
3-On a runner rounding thirdbase and maybe going home- let me be the third base coach for a few seconds

I know manager mode has other minor issues but we are all different and these would be my choices. I wrote this so others in this generous community might try the mode and love it like I do (and hoping somehow a dev sees this and says "hmmm")

MOM is fairly deep. I use the pitch strategy, usually on a 1-2 count. It does have the location you can throw it, e.g., up and in, but a pitch type would be nice too.

Manage mode would be 100% awesome if they just had better logic. Outside of that, I love this mode and play it every year. Some of us dont have the stick skills anymore, or as in my case, had hand surgery years back, so I cant play the game like I use to. Manage mode is a great alternative and allows me to still enjoy MLBTS. Playing I can never make it though a season. Just cant get enough games in. Manage mode lets me complete multiple seasons.

You can also sim to end. Once you start quickly press SQUARE and you can sim one pitch, batter or quick manage.

I wish we could play MOM head-to-head online. I would LOVE to be in an online MOM league!

I’m just now going to be getting a ps5. Hoping the manage mode is comparable to the ps4, which was really the best it’s been this year.

First of all let us create a manager.. this year we had a world series team fired their manager in May so we were stuck with Joe Garaldi for the rest of the year as the manager, we should be able to edit and create players

Find your favorite iterations and play it forever. Card games are whats "now" and games will cater in that direction and forget realism. Just have fun and play :)
