Wow, that was extremely short. Added Face Scan which is great, but that's pretty much it. New Ballplayer screen? Brought back on-the-field training? Some new presentation cut scenes when being drafted.

Yikes. Was very underwhelming.

These feature premieres are getting more and more boring every year.

Just like there graphics advancements.

I so miss the old days when there was so much hope for the future of this game.

To say I am underwhelmed with the direction MLB The Show is heading in would be a huge understatement!

Wow. That was a blink and you miss it stream.

New UI for ballplayer, some MLBN segments with the crew, and on field training is improved. Also, when you get drafted they reveal the team you are selected by more cinematically, comparable to a DD card reveal.

I have a feeling next week will be similar for the actual franchise upgrades. CBA rules are in, updated draft screen/draft logic? and then they will move onto MTO and commentary/presentation upgrades. Ugh.

So a face scan, a menu change, and a new cutscene. Mode otherwise is completely unchanged. Pretty disappointing to say the least.

Well that was short. Not much has changed besides the ballplayer hub and a better implementation of MLB Network. No offense to the guy that did the RTTS video clips the last couple years, but he was just not good. I like that the mini games are gone though and that the in field training is back. Face scan should be fun if it works the way they say it does. And the final bat sounds are amazing. That's what excited me the most about this stream haha

That was shorter than I expected...

- Updated bat sounds since Tech Test (sound is a little better? Not as thin?)

- Ballplayer hub updated (I had no issues with the hub last year. It's an okay change)

- On Field Training returns instead of mini games (I like this a lot)

- Updated screen when Ballplayer is drafted (I think it's better than before, but not a million times better)

- MLB Network video clips during key moments of Road to the Show (thought those were in last year?)

Anxious for next week's Franchise, MTO, Presentation stream!

Good freaking night.

I know everyone has things that matter to them that don't matter to other people, but man, I have been asking for 7+ years for the devs to just get rid of the crown mow pattern at Kauffman Stadium. That's a relic from the 2014-2015 World Series teams. It's so unrealistic to see that for every single game for 7+ iterations of this game now.

I fully admit I am not a programmer but I can't imagine that is more than, what, a half day of work? Tops?

Yeah I'll still play it like I do every year, but man I just know we're gonna get the same exact dialogue like we have had the past few years. Was really hoping they'd give us the chance to allocate our training points where we want again.

I still remember when presentation/commentary and franchise were completely separate streams. I have seen people on here say that presentation/commentary "are part" of Franchise. They are a part of EVERY mode. Franchise players will just appreciate them more. I wouldn't consider them upgrades to the actual mode itself.

Anyway, back on topic!

The fact that they tacked on "Presentation And Commentary" to the Franchise stream and not this one seems kind of telling that they probably have even less to say about Franchise.
