The amount of new fielding animations are really detailed.

I especially like the new running into the outfield wall animations. No more horrible looking animation where the defender sticks his arms out to brace himself and stops on a dime. Now their momentum actually takes them into the wall for a really good looking collision, I’ve even seen a couple guys fall to the ground after bashing into the wall.

Had a man on first yesterday and ripped a line drive to right. The right fielder caught it and WHIPPED it back into first, my runner barely made it back to the bag... Haven't seen that before

So glad to see base runners advancing on wild pitches and passed balls.

Matt Chapman just hit a line drive to 3rd, it deflected off of Arenado’s glove and was caught by Edman for a out.
Game log shows it as L5-6

I’ve seen it mentioned a time or two here and there but I’ll reiterate: the new audio for catchers catching the ball is very nice. It actually has a certain “satisfying” quality to it now opposed to being just a mindless “pop.” Good stuff.

Similar, when a batter gets plunked the audio is much better.

glad to see this latest patch has every player within franchise that gets in the HoF (that is a free agent) go into the hall with one of his teams insignia on his HoF screen shot.
now my only issue is I gotta see Robby Cano go in representing Atlanta lol
