Pinch hitter pitching

So I start my franchise today. Sim other teams games. I see SD got slaughtered by COL 24-3. Curious I look at the box score. Matt Carpenter pinch hit for Darbish in the 6th. Darvish had given up 2 runs.

Carpenter then pitched 3 innings giving up 20 hits and 8 runs, but the scoreboard showed he gave up 10 runs in the 7th, 3 runs in the 8th, 9 runs in the 9th????

So I checked Pittsburgh. Sure enough Connor Joe pinch hit for the pitcher and was then brought in to pitch.

Guillorme pinch hit for Verlander after 6….pitched 3 innings gave up 3 runs but the scoreboard reflects he gave up 0, 4, and 12 in the 9th.

Uh…..check your box scores. Now THIS is a game killer.

Robles for Washington……same,

I havent seen that in my franchise after game one the box scores been normal

Day 2 Peralta pinch hits for Urias. Stays in game shelled for 23 runs.
Mercedes (pinch hits) same game gives up 5, gets the win.

On and on.

That is weird i just look at all the games from 3/30 and nothing out of the ordinary the only real high scoring game was angels vs Oakland angles won 11-1 everything else was normal scoring with box scores looking realistic what system r u on and are u using custom rosters or live rosters

I just started a new franchise…..default roster.

Arraez pinch hit stayed in game to pitch gave up 3 runs in two innings. Boxscore shows he gave up 11 and I in those 2 innings.

Different game De La Cruz pinch hits, stays in game, gives up 8 runs.


Surely I can’t be the only one.

That is weird i just look at all the games from 3/30 and nothing out of the ordinary the only real high scoring game was angels vs Oakland angles won 11-1 everything else was normal scoring with box scores looking realistic what system r u on and are u using custom rosters or live rosters

PS5…..I used the default roster in both my tests.

im not having those issues with the box score i wonder what going on. R u using the default or the live rosters

Sim some games as a test. You don’t have to save them. Look for high scoring games. Check the box scores. Not every game does this.

I sim three days into my franchise made sure to turn off auto save and normal scoring 7-2 5-3 10-5 9-5 7-2 7-1 the only game that was 8 runs or more was 10-2 Mets marlins 3-0 2-1 5-2 7-2 8-6 11-5 9-7 12-2 that was Yankees phillies but that was Cortes in the loss yea im not seeing nothing like yours

Thanks Commish…..I’ve experimented more. I had my franchise set with DH in the AL and none in the NL. I simmed a few weeks and don’t see it now. So there’s something in that setting that is glitched. I’ll just have to go DH now. Scared the crap out of me.

Of course bro u r a os legend im happy i can help. Why am i not surprised there be a glitch with dl being off in nl. I guess sony still doesn’t like the idea lol
