Negro Leagues: It's Hard to Believe

The Negro Leagues. Probably one of the coolest modes ever added to the game. But I am dumbfounded that it's limited to a bunch of story lines and DD. For me, I have zero interest in DD or having the NL experience limited to completing tasks in a story line. So disappointing.

Re: Negro Leagues: It's Hard to Believe

I finished it yesterday and I loved it. What a history lesson! I played more DD over this weekend than I usually do the whole year so I enjoy having those cards to use. Even without that fact, it's a great learning experience for any baseball fan. Very well done. I see it's called Season 1 so I hope they add more players in the future.
    Currently playing:
    Madden 26
    MLB The Show 25
    Super Mario Wonder
    Pokemon Unbound

    Teams:
    New York Mets
    New York Jets
    Philadelphia Flyers

Season one is a good foundation to start.
We'll see if expands out even further and better next year w/season 2 in MLB 24

Paige throwing 105 is insane. And then pitching when he is 59 still. Crazy

I was really hoping to do a Negro League franchise or season. Too bad that’s not an option. It has so much potential. Maybe next year?

Can the cards earned in this mode not be sold on the DD market? I’m able to put them in the lineup but don’t see them in my inventory

I think season 2 will be apart of MLB 23 and not wait until 24. I don't think they'd call it "season one" if they weren't planning a few season for this year's game.

                  No, they explicitly stated otherwise.

yeah, thats what I originally assumed, until Sony said otherwise.
I figuered it would be like the Madden seasons this past year. I think EA did 3 seasons, I wanna say

Did they say otherwise? I missed that if they did. Seems silly to call it "season one" if it is only a mode in this version.

Well I see where they did. Not sure why they'd call it a season instead of a mode. Just kinda of a waste.

MLB ® The Show ™ 23 represents the inaugural season and next year’s game would be season 2. "

I'm glad they used it in the context of letting us know it isn't a one-off deal. Like TV shows with a new season each year.
