Is there a baserunning control set up that not so gamable?
As it stands, I can simply hold left until first motion, then crank right. If the pitcher's coming to the bag, the return will automatically register and the runner will return. If he's going to the plate, the running will steal.
This very occasionally results in a bad jump since I'm holding back to the bag, but it's rare. Just seems there's almost no risk. I don't have to react to what the pitcher's doing at all. I know, I know, self control, house rule it, I'd just rather the game not be giving me the option of making it so easy.
