      I always thought this was the slide step. Quick pitch is something different.

              If you have Balks turned On and try to pitch too quickie, there is a good chance the ump will call a balk.
              Hitting is not about muscles, it's simple physics.
              Calculate velocity (v) in relation to the trajectory (t) in which gravity (g) of course remains a constant.
              It's not complicated.
