Could be a bug, not sure. Finished 78-84 with Cubs, missed postseason. Somehow though we have the 25th pick in the upcoming draft? How?

How is your payroll? I know in real life if you spend a certain amount over the luxury tax you get penalized ten spots, that’s why the Mets and Dodgers have the last two picks in the first draft. Not sure if that is included in the game when they make the draft order but it’s a possibility

Were you over the threshold before you lowered payroll to 98 million and if so when did you lower it?

I don’t have the exact figures but I like to play a moneyball approach and have probably lowered it 50-60 million now in year 3. Year 1 I won 90 games, won division and had pick 24…

There is a lottery now.
Not yet great implemented into this years game (look at nba who did it good)

Lottery is only non playoff teams. I should have been in the lottery, securing a top 18 pick.

Pretty sure this is a confirmed 100% glitch at this point. I’m at draft day and last years playoff teams are selecting:

White Sox - 9
Tigers - 11
Rays - 24 (World Series loser)
Houston - 14
Cleveland- 22
Yankees- 21
Padres-23
Giants- 26
Cardinals - 18
Philly -16
Dodgers- 28
Atlanta -29 (World Series winner)

I’m pick 25, missed playoffs. Blue jays pick 30 missed playoffs. I think it may have used the previous years records . I was pick 24 last year…

This sucks.

Revenue sharing does play a role in the slot as well so it's not just a straight record slotting process.
