Yes, this is a bit odd that the PS version does not include any disc at all (download code for both PS4 and PS5), however, the Xbox version DOES include the disc.

Wow.... yeah, I just saw that first screenshot with the prices. $125???

I'm feeling a bit strange with the thought that they're trying to cash in so much with this NGL steelbook. I LOVE that steelbook so freaking much, and was about to pre order.... then I saw the price.

Can't justify that hike in price. None of the collector's editions in the past ever went past $100.

This just feels wrong.

I don't think early access is only $125 bucks, from what I see. Looks like pre-order the MVP edition and it's 85 bucks.

Correct.

But I still hate the fact that none of these PS editions (other than standard) include the actual game disc.... I hate how things are slowly, but very obviously, moving to a digital only video game world

Yea I dont understand this at all... I'm legit pissed... I always purchase The Show as a disc.... But I also want early access.... God damnit!

Great catch that Xbox version includes physical disc! I’ll be honest that having the game a few days early (using the disc copy) has been my only motivation to get the upgraded version. Packs and points and cover athletes are just window dressing to me.

I do understand the concern by many that so far this seems like a copy & paste game from last year. I hope that’s not the case since it was pretty glaring last year that SDS would need to focus on enhancing the graphics and in-game presentation along with rules changes and Franchise for ‘24.
