Manager Career Mode

Does MLB the Show have a Manager Career Mode or Owner Mode? I want to control all the roster moves, etc. But I want all my games to be played CPU vs CPU basically. I do not want to Sim the games either.

We've been able to watch CPU vs CPU games in franchise in this series ever since it became "The Show" in 2006 (and maybe before, that's just when I got into the series). No reason to think that's going to change in '24.

I have not played The Show in a very long time.

So I can still just "manage" my franchise and then set the games to play cpu vs cpu?

Not so much "setting" them to play CPU-only as it is simply not selecting a team in the pre-game controller select screen for each game, leaving the controller in the middle. If you don't choose, the game plays CPU vs. CPU.

Again, game isn't out yet. But if past history (and lots of it) is any indication we should still be able to do this.

There is also a manager mode. Not sure how well it works though.

Manager mode is solid! I use it at times to break things up. No issues at all with it and I know I've seen plenty of people on here use it strictly as their go to.
