Here is the missing players list

So, I printed out all the current MLB rosters and major league players injured list off FanGraphs. I went through all the teams marking off who is in the game and who is missing..

This is for people who like to have all the players in like me. Some people do not care. For those who do not want to wait for an update and want to make a cap or look for one here you go.

Keep in mind if they are in the game but on the wrong team THEY ARE NOT MISSING, if they are in the FA pool. THEY ARE NOT MISSING. This is just not anywhere to be found. This list does not include minor league players.

He not listed on fangraphs as part of Cubs major league roster so did not even look for him

Oh no, sorry, I didn't mean to be critical of you. I was criticizing SDS for not including a player who was in last year's game and may very well make the Cubs opening day roster.

no worries I did not take it as a negative was just letting you know. But yes he is missing from the game.

not sure how they miss some players honestly, I get the Japan and Korean guys.

Bote I get as he didn't play in MLB at all last year, they can be kinda finicky about that some times. Wesneski seems inexcusable since he pitched quite a bit last year

It's not up to SDS. Bote spent all last year in Triple A, and was never on the active roster. Which means he's not a part of the MLBPA license. SDS doesn't legally have the rights to put him in the game until he is on the Cubs active roster. They can't legally put him in because he might make the roster.

So how I think Ramone explained it was that they can't just put them in immediately after their debut. They have to also like sign some paperwork and send it back. So that may be why there's a couple week lag in getting them in.

He hasn't played in the majors yet, so SDS can get his rights independent from the MLBPA. Any minor league player who is in the game has signed their rights to SDS. Players who are represented by the MLB CBA can't.

Thank you for the list I went ahead and downloaded the missing players and imported them into the roster and I’m starting franchise and not looking back
