Pitch comm is the new electronic device that catchers use to relay what pitched he wants the pitcher to throw. They don't use finger signals anymore to prevent runners from stealing signs. Everyone started using pitch comm last year.

Pitch comm is the answer to Astros sign stealing. Last year in real majors catchers started wearing this pitch communication device on their wrist to send signals to pitchers, who can hear a translated verbal communication thru a speaker on their hat (?).

If you play with the MiLB teams, they still use traditional signs.

Actually started in 2022, it was just last year when JT was near universally adopted (and some pitchers started wearing them in '23 as well).

I don’t have this game yet, but I’m impressed with the amount of detail I’m reading about

I'm playing the Nintendo Swith version right this moment. I'm still in the Arizona Texas game you play while waiting for the full install, and the catchers aren't using Pitch Comm, they're throwing down traditional finger signs.

It was only hand signal for the install game. After the install the mlb level upgraded to pitch com. Should be optional, esp. since you play milb with hand signs.

And my 2017 Yanks took them 7 games, while they knew every pitch that was coming. Losers. Pitch comm is a necessity unfortunately with technology cheating.

Several have made the comment that it’d be great if they called out the pitch suggestion thru the controller. I really hope SDS looks into doing that next year. That would be pretty cool. Maybe have a button to shake them off too. Would be awesome. Obviously as an option you can turn off.

As far as the shaking off part the controller could be shaken to mimic the head shaking. alot of other games are using suddel controller shakes for certain things.
