Have you tried setting CPU Contact, Timing and Power sliders to 10?T-BONE. -

Nope not yet just getting ready to start experimenting. Do you think it’s best to put them all that high right off the bat? Just looking to find a good challenge but not get pummeled every game either lol.Comment

I know it could potentially take longer but I would definitely suggest experimenting by only moving sliders 1 click at a time. I'm sure you'll get dialed in quicker that way than working bak the other way from 10 down.T-BONE.Comment

I’ll try that with the 3 sliders you suggested. I don’t use sliders much so I wasn’t sure which to try. Really appreciate your advice, thank you!Comment

First thing I do is turn down pitcher control and consistency sliders to 0. You’ll find yourself being much more careful when selecting a pitch/spot.
Only bumped the CPU contact and timing up 1 notch this year and so far it seems realistic. I’m walking a lot more batters and have gave up a good number of runs. HR’s still on the low side though.

Turn off the pitch cursor, strike zone, hot zone, and controller vibration.Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.Comment

I know its a pain in the arse and an inconvenient hassle but I turn Vibration on any time I get a runner on base, then turn it back off when I return to the mound. There are plenty innings where I'm batting and its 3 up 3 down, so I never have to turn it on those innings. I wish it mattered more when hitting, like vibrated with 2 strikes instead of just RISP at-bats.T-BONE.Comment

Re: Pitching too easy… any suggestions?
Anytime anything gets “too easy” in any sports game the recourse is to attempt to dictate results imo.
“He’s doin’ anything he wants out there.”
If it’s THAT easy, show me 27 straight groundouts. Just an example.
If it’s THAT easy, show me a 35-5 start with a sub-2 team ERA.
Show me a rotation where all five guys make the all-star team.
Show me a 20K game with a sub-70 SP.
Show me 20 wins with a sub-70 SP.
Show me a sub-1 WHIP after 100 innings with a sub-60 OVR RP.
Etc.
In other words, sample-size.
*note: I’m assuming we’re talking about playing every pitch of every game here, all 162. If we’re talking quick-counts or “I play one game per series” or anything else like that, disregard.Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.Comment

Classic pitching + turn all the guides off. Lower relative sliders incrementally until you think it's more of a challenge and as others said, upping CPU relative sliders.Comment
