    Spoiler alert - franchise draft

For scouting tips I would refer you this youtube video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-SpYD7BpQs&t=794s - not my channel but he has some good advice. I highly recommend having one scout @ 90 efficiency/90 pos players and one scout @ 90 efficiency/90 pitchers and one at 90 discovery. Great advice.

This thread relates to how to determine potential, overall and attributes for you 100% scouted players. It involves a little grade school math. I came up with this on my own but it is possible someone else has figured it out. It isn't very complicated.

First do not save over your opening season franchise file when the draft pool first becomes available. You need to refer to those beginning numbers to figure the final numbers and the easiest way to do that is to refer to the opening season save file where prospects are unscouted.

Example #1 position player beginning potential 65 -99 overall 40-74.
    Add and divide by 2. 65+99 = 164/2 = 82 overall 40+74 = 114/2 = 57.

    100% scouted potential 77 - 92 overall 52 - 67.
    77+92 = 169 52+67 = 119

    Total potential and overall both increased by 5 - exactly the same. Beginning potential was 82. 164/2 = 82. Add 5. 82 + 5 = 87 potential. Beginning overall was 57. 100% scouted 5 points higher. Overall is 62.

    This also applies to every attribute. For example this player's unscouted contact vs R was 39-73 = 112/2 = 56. 56+5 = 61. His contact vs R is 61.

This player is 87 potential 62 overall contact vs R 61 and every other attribute increases by the same factor of +5 from the unscouted attributes added and divided by 2.

To verify it I used it on several other players including this low level player - pitcher.

    Beginning pot 56-90 146/2 = 73 overall 44-78 122/2 = 61 h/9 44-74 = 118/2 = 59.
    100% scouted 61-76 137 146-137 = -9.

    potential is 64. Overall is 52. h/9 50.

Also generational prospects will always be early on the board, 18 years old and plus 5 vision over discipline.

-not my tip got it off a video.

Does this formula mean no players will come in lower than where they start?

No. In the second example the player declined by 9 points.
