Re: Service time
This doesn't seem to be behaving normally, at least from what I've experienced.
Some guys with service time get it, some don't.You want free speech?

Re: Service time
It's because in game it tracks rookie status with service time and at bats or IP. You could conceivably have a player with 5 years of service time and have less than 100 ABs and the game would still consider him a rookie.
So in order to avoid the rookie icon, both of those things must be met on a player before the start of the season to remove the R symbol and status.
Yes this is different than real MLB where it is an OR rule. In game it is an AND rule and has been for a long time now.Funkycorm

No, I mean, literally, there is no rhyme or reason.
I am pretty fanatical about how I build my CAPs. NONE of them have stat lines. Zero.
When I import them into the Live roster, literally, some get it, some don't.
Its bizarre.
(I assume they'll all have it in franchise, as per usual)You want free speech?

Re: Service time
Its probably taking into account the player you're importing over. Say you're importing over a player in the minors and he's on the 40 man roster, the guy you're importing in will be on the 40 man roster with the R icon. If you import over a player in the minors that's not on the 40, you won't get the icon. No, I mean, literally, there is no rhyme or reason.
