No gamepass? And no PC? Well that's doubly disappointing. The last decade I've either bought MLB The Show or got it on gamepass and in all cases I quit playing it within weeks bc it is basically the same Franchise mode since the PS3 era. Not gonna buy it at full price just to be disappointed again.

Thankfully we can all hold off until at least early March before we have to make that decision.

I told myself that this year I wouldn’t get caught up in the hype for the release of 25, yet here I am checking the boards here every couple hours for updates and chatter on the game.

I guess some things never change.

I'm sad there won't be a steel book case this year. The end of an era on my shelf.

I'll still buy the game 100%, but a piece of me will be missing.

The press release only mentions two versions with nothing about a collector's edition coming later. In previous years, they mentioned a collector's edition in the initial press releases with no other details.

Unless that reveal is coming Thursday?

Believe for the last couple years the MVP Edition was announced couple days after cover reveal.
