Been involved with music for close to 50 years, been a musician for over 40 years, and have only heard of Marvin Gaye.

If I pick up the game, the first thing I am going to do (as I do every year, and with Madden as well) is immediately turn off the soundtrack and start up Spotify.

I'll leave the soundtrack on until May, then I'll cut off whatever songs don't grow on me and don't make the cut. There was about fifteen songs I had never heard before last year that I wound up liking immensely. Glad to see they didn't cut back to a dozen or so songs. The more the better.

Lots of old people in this thread, myself included. Although probably on the younger side so I’ll listen to like 5 of these songs.

Definitely a younger soundtrack though, which makes sense.

I'm an old fart and hippity-hop isn't exactly my go-to genre but even I can recognize they snagged some big names with Kendrick Lamarr, Wale, Bad Bunny, NaughtyByNature, De La Soul and of course lil Wayne.

Even my mom knows who Lil Wayne and Kendrick Lamar are. She also deals with younger people so that’s why she’s on top of it, but I’d assume unless you are watching mainstream TV/Music, some people could have never heard of them. Big fan over here though.

There are always three or four songs I like that I wouldn't have heard without a video game. Can't wait to see what those are.
