Can't decide between two games:

1) Mets@Yankees : Eager to show the Bronx what they're missing out on with no Soto to protect his honor the Judge.
Judge gonna slump in 25, with only a paltry 45 dingers.

2) Mets@Dodgers : If you wanna be the man, you gotta beat the man.

A little taste of this years NLCS.

I always do a Tigers vs Guardians game first thing. I make it a day game kind of like an "Opening Day" feel.

Then I'll go through the whole Tigers organization's rosters and see who got new scans and what not.

I used to always do this but I have gotten away from it. My first game was always an exhibition of Yankees at Mets(me) to get a feel of new game. I haven't done it in years though. I jump right into Franchise now and my first game is whatever Mets first Spring Training game is.

I probably won't open up franchise mode for a couple weeks. I'll want to do a little touch-up on the roster before I begin.

No doubt that I’ll start up a franchise with whatever team I decide only to restart a new franchise. Same thing every year.😂

My usual is to start up a franchise and play a midseason Cubs game to get a look at the full presentation the game offers. When you start on Opening Day there's going to be some stuff missing from the presentation cycle because no stats have been accumulated yet.

That's just for evaluation purposes of course - I'll start another franchise when I'm ready to play the mode in earnest.

I can't play games that don't matter, so I'll go right into the Cleveland franchise , possibly a fantasy draft.

And then I'll restart 5 times during the first month before it finally gets moving. lol.

I always fire up a test franchise and play a lot of opening days and then just get a great feel for how the game plays as I play many different matchups and go thru pitching rotations several times…..dial in my sliders…..await a really great full minors roster and once I start my 2025 Yankees franchise there is no looking back.

Brother. It’s time for you to settle into a Rockies franchise. I just found a roster in ‘24 with correct service time, played 5 games with our beloved jays, and I’m already ready to dig into something that I have no affiliation with.

If Sutter Health is in , I want to play against the A's by that first weekendafter release. Usually my first game is against Philly or Atlanta, but this year its either Yankees or Dodgers.

Release night I always take a mid-day nap in preparation. I work from home so no need to take day off work.

Jump into the game and play as Mets vs Yankees. Then I like to go through rosters, look at new face scans/stance/home run swings/equipment.

In previous years I'd start my DD grind waiting for OSFM rosters but last year was the first year I didn't open DD all year. Didn't miss it one bit and don't plan on opening DD ever again.

I was debating Digital Deluxe edition because I don't need the packs, but the early access caused fear of FOMO and it'd feel weird not playing that first weekend.

So I'll play my Subway Series game and then dive right into editing my rosters for my franchise.
