    Fantasy Draft Number One Pick.

If you had the number one pick in a Fantasy Draft, who do you select?
It was Trout for so long but apparently those days are over.
    So, Shohei?
    Judge?
    Skenes?
    Gunnar?
    Elly?
    Someone even younger?
    Mets/Jets/Knicks.

Skenes. I always go pitching first, and if I'm using cleveland, Skenes is affordable.

Shohei, for sure. You'll get a few years of excellent pitching on top of the hitting that could age well for the next 10 years. There's no one that can compare to that.

        I agree.
        Skenes would be my pick
Jackson Merrill would be another one I would consider.

          Did Bobby Witt Jr. retire?

-The most valuable SS in the game.
          -Speed, power, decent defensively.
-Very affordable over the next 3 years, which allows you to add some big money later on in the draft.
-Signed for basically his entire career (assuming no opt out...)
-Will only turn 25 mid June.

          Easy choice at 1OA.

Re: Fantasy Draft Number One Pick.

With Fantasy Drafts I usually trend towards players on teams I normally would never use.

It would be a reach with the 1.01 but I would love to play with Yordan Alvarez so that would be my go-to. And he is still kinda young, so that would even work long-term.

Bobby Witt Jr is a good option. Power and speed from SS position.

Edit: sorry, I commented in here without really reading haha

                He is my #2 overall.

Ohtani as a pitcher and DH is beyond generational……It’s Babe Ruth man.

Haha. You’re correct but I am used to being on social security so I’m on a budget.

Time to run a *insert team city here* A's franchise. The Dodgers minor league budget is probably more than the A's lol.

As someone who hasn't had him on my team in franchise mode, and saw all of the original issues with 2 way players...did they sort that out? I thought I was going to get to play with him last year, but alas, the life of a Jays fan...

I mean, if 2 way actually works, I'd probably take him, but Bobby...Would likely depend on how his salary is dolled out as well...I think my main thought around him is that if I take Bobby, somewhere down the line in the draft I can take a higher-end player that is probably overpaid, and not feel bad about it.

I was driving around this afternoon getting some work done, and was listening to the Buster Olney podcast and he mentioned Acuna at one point, and my immediate thought was "A healthy Acuna in the Show is a guy that I'd likely consider at 1OA."
