Spring training improvement ideas for franchise mode

If you’re someone who plays every spring training game before the regular season, what improvements would you like to see made?

I’ll start with stadiums. I’d like to see replicas of all the stadiums in Arizona and Florida added to the game. I’d also like to see games that are tied at the end of 9 innings end in ties. The game doesn’t count in the standings, but the statistics do.

Roster invites lets us use more than the 40 man roster.

Separate spring training for the minor league players not on the 40 man roster,
Split-squad games.
Nine inning games only, no extra innings.

To not have injuries toned way down in played games. You can put slider up to max and you will be lucky if you get one injury the whole Spring Training. With slider at max sim injuries work but not played games.

Split squad games
Breakout game
Real uniforms
Availability to sign a FA to a tryout

Last year I finally took the time to begin creating all of the Cactus League and Grapefruit League ballparks as I was tired of using the same two SDS provides (or random minor league parks). I really enjoy using them as it adds to the realism for me. I've uploaded all of them in the vault and they should be available once the issues with the vault in MLBTS 25 are resolved. Under the user name 'brytolman'.

Actually just returned from spending a week in Phoenix hitting all of the Cactus League ballparks, so I'll be updating those in the coming weeks (nothing major...just some minor tweaks I saw in person).

We now have spring training uniforms. It’s really just the alternates for most teams outside of the small handful that wear regular uniforms (Cards/Phils) and they added in the Yankees home ST and the Tigers road ST.

And having the Cactus league and Grapefruit league spring training caps/hats in the game is fantastic as well.

Did they add the Braves? I on the road away from my PS5. But I didn’t think it was in there.

The Braves wear their alternate jersey for ST. You have to go to caps and move over to the Spring Training cap and you have their ST uniform (just choose home or road for pants). In Franchise, they have it as a full option so maybe they’ll do that in play now. But it’s all there.

They even have the new home BP caps for all 30 teams as well in case anyone wants to use those.

I just took a look at some of these…they are great! Thank you! I’ve wanted to tackle this project myself for years, never got to it.

The actual ST stadiums would be nice, but my biggest thing is non roster invitees. Instead of just having the 40 man roster.
