When I'm a righty pitcher versus a lefty batter (or vice versa), I've been extremely successful so far with the new sweeper, and back-dooring it on the extreme bottom and outside of the plate. If the count is 3-0 with at least one out and no one on, I won't hesitate to finish up with an intentional walk. At that point, I'd rather it just be a three pitch PA and save my strength for the next guy. And, as always, its imperative above all else to be unpredictable. Even if that means on the rare occasion of throwing three straight change-ups.
