What would you take from Pro Spirits 2025 and put in the Show ?

Just watched a whole game of Pro Spirits 2025 and was curious if anyone checked it out and what would you take from that game and put in The Show ?
1. I don’t think the graphics on uniforms are significantly better ? What I would say is they are more photo realistic with the textures and skin tones.
2.Ball flight off the bat with the camera I think I like a bit more ?
3. Not a doubt pitching, watch the arm action and the pitch action especially on breaking balls, you feel the velocity more imo
4. Sound for sure , really immerses you in game
5. Ballparks I think Show does great job with shadowing and detail but crowds and once again I think stadiums are more photo realistic, so maybe the color palette ?
I’d say Show on this engine would be interesting, I don’t know about gameplay obviously that’s most important but Pro Spirits definitely did some good things

The Show tries to do too much, compared to Pro Spirits.
If they would drop 75 of the teams they focus on and just do the fifteen National League teams, I think they could easily replicate what Pro Spirits does. More interesting to me is to see what Pro Spirits would pull off by building 90 teams.

I’d probably take the player models and the pitching motion velocity. I feel like the Show does everything else slightly better, albeit both are great games.

Rain outs/delays
Pitcher Deliveries
Batter swings-not saying the shows swings are bad but personally enjoy Pro Spirits…especially the difference between Contact/Power swings
Real pitch speeds are fantastic…will say that Pro spirits does have a few pitches that are a little bit odd with the movement
All star game-players wear their team uniforms in Pro Spirits
Franchise has the option to include money in trades
Equipment-albeit much smaller variety offered than the show but the equipment available looks amazing compared to the shows equipment
Shows gameplay is better but I feel that pro spirits does feel better as far as having total control over a player…show feels like your stuck in animations…don’t feel that in Pro Spirits

Also I saw one animation where the OF threw the ball into the OF stands after the third out ? Does Show do that ? (not a shot, i honestly dont know) That in part goes to the little things that SDS has gotten away from but really was what put this game on the map.

Yeah Idk how they do their stadium sounds but it sounds alive not canned ? This really isnt a one vs another its more what can SDS do to refresh the game, so that except for DD most players ? most are going to be done with game by time GTA comes out.

If they just made the pitch velocity/action and the Sound in the game next year ? that alone would go a long way. Add in more photo realistic player models and man you have probably sports game of decade.

I have the Spirits 2025 game. I purchased it after seeing the videos. My thoughts are as follows:

1. The game apparently consists of two software "engines", the Unreal Engine, which is a third party program and makes the players look so realistic, and the eBaseball engine which is proprietary to Konami.

2. The game is only available on the PS5 so Konami does not need to worry about compatibility with legacy platforms like the Nintendo Switch.

3. The Konami players do look better than in MLB 25 the Show. However the play in the field I would give the edge to MLB 25 the Show. I do not know how with the Konami system one can create complicated faces for players the users may want to create. As it stands I would say the MLB the Show system works better.

4. Bunting is obviously better in the Konami game.

5. The commentary in the Konami game sounds continuous, but since I do not speak Japanese I have no idea what they are saying.

Finally, Konami has an MLB license which it utilized to create a baseball app. with all 30 teams

I've not played Pro Spirits but I've read they have rain outs so I'd love to see that. I also love the rain effects with deteriorating fields I've seen in videos of Pro Spirits and really want to see that in the game. Let me see why it goes into a delay more than just rain effects.

The rain effects are very well done…the intensity of the rain changes at times…there’s an indicator with an umbrella that shows you the intensity…sometimes the game gets delayed, sometimes the game gets called and sometimes the game never even starts due to weather

I still don't see graphics as being significantly better, especially with the new game.

This one annoys me on the Show. *Super Mega Baseball* has pullover and sleeveless jerseys while the Show doesn’t not. That’s embarrassing.

Anyway, on topic, I’m not sure what it’s called, but I like the game mode where you can replay a scenario from every game of the real season.

Except for the ability to have pull over jerseys I would agree. The faces are more realistic imo but uniforms are pretty close though I would say one thing ? The hats to me look better in pro spirits. In the Show , depending on the head , hats can look like either they had to be shoe horn'd on or make it look like they are a kid wearing their dad's hat sometimes (Verlander). In Pro Spirit its pretty even for every player. And on curved hats in the show the logo is smaller though they did improve it last season so it wasnt so distorted.
