Will we ever be able to edit coaches?

I just don’t understand why they don’t let us edit coaches. The majority of them are incorrect. I get that not every coach is in the union or will agree to be in the game. But if they could just allow us to edit uniform number, sleeves, and pants style; we could essentially just fix it ourselves. I’m not asking to change NAMES, I just want to be able to find a coach that looks similar and be able to give him the number I want. I don’t think that’s too much to ask.

And the new thing of basically putting a jacket on every 3rd base coach is mind boggling.

I think the jacket is a glitch that will get patched.

The CAP coaches…….I just wish they looked as good as the scans. Even half as good. But, editing would be great.

I just don’t think it’s much of a priority.

When my coaches have retired forcing me to hire new guys I've literally saved a separate file, hired some coaches and simmed to ST to see what jersey number they were given. Takes me out of it if they're using a retired or star player number, so I won't hire them in my real save.

Feels like a very simple editor within the coaching contracts screen could prevent that.

They need to get rid of that jacket entirely. They don't even wear those anymore, every coach in baseball has been wearing team hoodies for like the last decade plus.

I'm fond of saying never is a long time so you should never say something is never going to happen, but after fifteen plus years of waiting to edit coaches, I'm almost ready to say aint never happening.
