Had the sme thing happen earlier. Had to shut down my ps5 and lost all progress.
Mine was an in-game save that I was playing. How about you?

No in game save. I was in manage mode were you?
This happened a few years ago in manage mode. My memory isn't great but I think it had something to do with pinch hitting for the pitcher and then going to the bullpen to replace the position player who pinch hit.

Nope. Started a game. My kid wanted to play, so I saved and exited. Came back to it later, played a few innings, went to warmup a few pitchers when I was batting and couldn’t get it off the screen.
I remember this happening a few years back as well.

Tessi, fellow manage mode player here. Wondering how you’re feeling about the new game. Is manage mode about the same? I’ve just now started playing 2024. They fixed the lack of walks somewhere along the line. I’ll get around to 2025 eventually.

I've only played a few games because I was rebuilding my created stadium from scratch. I like what I've seen in a few games except for once the game froze when I went to the bullpen and twice playing in my created stadium the game crashed.
I never bought 24. I don't see any major changes from 23 but as I said I've only played a few games. Will probably stop playing until they release a patch.
Your game is freezing because your playing in a created stadium. I had a freeze in mom doing the same thing. I researched and several people are saying that the game freezes while playing in a created stadium. It's the only time I've had a freeze. I play all the Spring Training games and I like to visit different stadiums. It froze while playing in one of the created stadiums. Game is fine with that exception

It seems obvious to me given the fact created stadiums don't transfer into 25 from previous versions and we have this freezing and crashing that SDS had no developer assigned to created stadiums. Nobody played a single game in a created stadium to see if it was bug free.
I'll say it again. They need to drop storylines and other minor additions and focus developer time on franchise.

Playing a game inside a created stadium has nothing to do with franchise. So even if they did what you’re requesting, it still wouldn’t have prevented the created stadium issues from happening as the developers who are assigned to franchise have nothing to do with create a stadium nor gameplay

And while I do want Sony to focus more dev time on franchise, I don't want them to drop storylines or any type additions. Ideally what I would want is for Diamond Dynasty to make them a ton of bank so they can hire more people to work on franchise.

Nice game, pretty boy.

That's my point. They never tied the two together. Nobody played a game in a created stadium to see if it was bugged and the fact that created stadiums do not transfer indicates they had no developer assigned to created stadiums.
They need to reallocate developer resources. Or they could continue with the current process which caused this mess.

What point????
You insinuated that if they would focus more franchise then things like the CAS issue would not have happened.
That is 100% incorrect.
The developers who work on franchise have nothing to do with CAS nor gameplay.
You keep stating that they need to reallocate developer resources but have no idea how they are distributed.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I would rather the devs focus on a single thing as opposed to multiple things. Having your hands in too many things would create more problems.
The stadiums, in game and created, are art files. This isn't a franchise specific issue. It's a create a stadium issue.
Created stadiums are used in franchise, RTTS, exhibition, and yes DD. This isn't something that is tested by the franchise team. That isn't their role. It's a create a stadium issue that needs to be addressed by the create a stadium team. But if the original team is still in play, the create a stadium team was one developer. May be a few now. But they are more artists than programmers. And it may be a specific asset causing the issue. I used some of the created stadiums that came with the game in spring training games and have had no issues. But that is just me.

We are in 100% agreement but you apparently don't realize it. The developers who work on franchise have nothing to do with created stadiums. It's time to modify that unless SDS is happy with the current mess unless you have a better idea.
