    Using AI for Commentary?

With AI becoming more and more popular, I wonder if the Show team could/would ever use it for commentary?

AI can mimic anyone’s voice, so no need to bring in actual people to record lines. Just type it up, and have AI read it in anyone’s voice imaginable.

Could be a way to get commentary team’s for every major league club. Maybe just pay these commentators for using their likeliness?

The variety of lines would be endless.

Playing some RTTS, and Ben (minor league commentator) has certain lines for some made-up ads. This would be great to hear things like this in the big league games as well.

    Any other thoughts?

I'd imagine there's a whole host of legal reasons why this is unlikely for the near future. It's fun to think about the possibilities though

This would be more viable as PC mods than for commercial usage in an official capacity. If we ever get a PC port of MLB The Show it would be fascinating to see if AI could be used to create local broadcasting team mods.

Years ago I wished San Diego Studio would have looked into DLC for MLB The Show for regional broadcaster packs. I would have paid a hefty sum to have gotten Jason Benetti and Steve Stone calling my games in MLB The Show if I could have.

Actually Pro Spirits 24-25 uses AI so announcers can say names of created players in the game. You dont get the "number 19" you get the actual name

I would love to have my actual announcers for the Braves. It would be cool if they could partner with FOX, TBS, etc and get their presentation packages and bring back MLB Network presentation.
