Offline franchise how many games do you play

not sure why they can’t change season lengths. How many games do you guys play ? What level of difficulty? Have you been playing for good results offline ?

I'm good for bare minimum 486 franchise games. One experimental season with Colorado. Then at least two seasons with the Mets. I'm positive I'll play other seasons in franchise mode but those will be a 'play 54 games sim 108 games' season mode type thing. Dynamic Difficulty, ranges me most between veteran and all-star with some reaches into HoF because I have the Dynamic Difficulty Slider maxed at ten until the all-star break. Whatever the results are, I'm fine for the most part. I don't get too caught up in the end results anymore. Its about the journey now for me and not the destination.

Right now I play every inning, but I am not sure that I will keep that up. I want to play a bit of every game, so I will play around with the in-game simulation to skip a inning here or there.

I am on Hall of Fame pitching and Allstar hitting right now.

I have a Royals franchise where I play one, quick manage one.

I have a Braves franchise where I’m playing all 162.

I’d like to get 2-3 seasons deep. We will see. I always say I’ll skip next years version if no Y2Y saves so I can get further. But there is always some reason I give in and get the new game. [emoji3]

I'm playing on HOF difficulty using Armor & Sword's directional hitting / classic pitching sliders. Only difference is that I'm handling all fielding instead of auto.

Divisional Games: If playing a team that is within 5 games of my team in the standings (back or ahead) I'll play every pitch until a series is won.

All Other Games & Divisional Games More Than 5 Games Ahead or Back: Will play every pitch of one game in the series and sim the rest using my pitching rotation. For example, if I play one and sim all and use my number one starter, the next series I will use my number two starter...and so on.

Play ALL playoff games.

Currently playing every Wednesday and Sunday game on dynamic difficulty. Sunday because that’s the day to set scouting. Wednesday because that’s also usually the last game of the series. Once it comes time to sign draft picks I’ll play the games on those days. Once August hits I’ll rotate through the days and play a game from each series.

I play a Mets Franchise all 162 using quick counts. I generally stay a month behind the real schedule, and make all moves trades etc for the Mets as they happen in reality. Takes me about 5 months to finish. I'll usually then start a 2nd Franchise in December-ish using updated offseason rosters and play that until new game drops next year.

Playing an Angels franchise. For 2025-27 I’ll play 1 game per week. To get some of my own prospects in the game. Starting 2028 I’ll play every game, every inning. Until Trout retires.

One way I've enjoyed playing is to play one, sim five. Then you go thru your rotation in order using every starter and end just under 30 games played. I've done lots of different styles but this one works for me when I'm trying to have a quicker season.

162 or unless I'm eliminated from the playoffs in which case I might sim to the end of the season.

Odd games of every series including playoffs. Might sneak in a game 6 to avoid elimination.

First of all, I do quick counts. I sim all games except:

1st and last game of any 4 game series.
Play 1 game of 3 game series, cycling with 1st, 2nd and 3rd games of each series.

If still in contention in Sept, play every game til clinched. Play all playoff games.

All-star hitting, HOF Pitching.

I play every pitch of 162, with quick counts on. While I find it to be an absolute grind from the day after the deadline until mid-September.

I do find myself stalking my minor league rosters during that time though, and I'll play a few games here and there to see which guys I can hit/pitch with to have a better idea of how to plan my offseason.

Every pitch for 162 games. A few years back I skipped MLB 21 and and just played two Stros seasons on 20. Was fun but cant lie, I like having updated rosters after awhile and the ability to sign big names was fairly easy then
