I'm new to MLB The Show

I bought a PS4 at launch, and ever since I've been waiting for The Show. Previously I had a 360 and a PS2 before that. Never once played The Show, but I've seen it. Haven't really enjoyed a baseball game since MVP for ps2 and before that Triple Play Baseball.

What can I expect from an online experience? Does lag effect batting? Can I get into a true baseball battle, where real baseball strategy can work?

I play 90% of my games online so that's my main focus for this game. Thanks!

I don't play much online, but lag has had some negative effects over the last few years. However, the few games I have played were great. I think it depends. I think the PS4 will provide for a much better online experience and they have devoted much more time on improving it.

As for true baseball experience, there is no better game. Real baseball strategy is a must in this game to win. If you are a major baseball fan you will be right at home.
