how hard are the batting and pitching controls on here? I haven't bought a baseball game since bases loaded on sega genesis,(yes I am that old).I love the way the graphics look, but the 1 thing holding me back is how hard the controls are.appreciate your input guys.

The game is very good at catering to all skill levels. There's a big variety of control schemes and difficulty settings. You'll definitely find a combination that works for you.

The joy of this game.... you choose. Whatever feels more comfortable and you do better with.

I'm an older player too, and been playing the show for years. I still use the buttons for hitting myself, works perfectly. I personally didn't like the zone hitting myself, and as the others have said, this game is great in that you can set it up however is comfortable for you. This goes for pitching, and playing in the field as well.
