No, I actually wasn't when I saw it the first time then I saw it again and realized it was a real person

Re: MLB 14: The Show Advertisement

I just saw the TV Ad I was able to record it on my DVR. The fan holding and spilling the Popcorn is he a real person or a video game character? Either way it would be really cool to have fans holding popcorn and soft drinks and seeing them spill them when trying to catch a foul ball or Home Run lol.

Also like someone else said if that PNC skyline is from an in game shot then HOLY %&^%!!!

Also that last shot at At&T Park has some of the most amazing lighting for a night game I have ever seen before in a video game!! If that';s also in game then just WOW!!

Yeah that was pretty intense. But video game companies are known to lie in their commercials and trailers. I'm skeptically optimistic

Re: MLB 14: The Show Advertisement

Good Commercial. I dunno who SCEA utilizes for their ad agency, but they've done a good job with it. Usually the agency doesn't have access to the game or footage until near release, and so they are in the predicament of coming up with a campaign using no footage (i.e., Baseball is better vids with no in-game footage for a while)...

They did a great job this year, and are now tying in-game video with the campaign. It's a solid campaign.

Re: MLB 14: The Show Advertisement

Unimpressed with the ad. Thought the dude covered up the game too much.

With that said, my anticipation of this game has not decreased one bit. I don't think I've EVER anticipated a game more than this (in close to 20 years of gaming).
