MLB 14: The Show Impressions Thread (Impressions only!)

-Transfer of my franchise file from the PS3 to the PS4....perfecto..
-Faces for the O.S.F.M. from the PS3 version on the PS4 version...perfecto!
(we do need to change anyone with Beard 2 or 3(full) as it is a "playoff" mountain man beard)
-Guys asking about Sounds of the Show...the framework is in. I don't use it a lot...but you can edit guys with existing items.....and it seems as if we get the ability on the4 to copy music files...you guys would be good to go!

Thanks for those updates, Knight! Now, if they can just give an update for the MP3 support. I have my sound packs ready to go when that time comes.

Ok so after playing 3 games online it's still terrible online. I've yet to play an mlb the show that was good online and this is no different. Not completely unplayable, but bad. My internet connection is 100mbs and so is my buddy who lives a couple of blocks away. I believe this is something that is holding this series back. The bat disappears while swinging, it's very delayed and lagged and weird plays happen while online. On a positive note I love the new fielding and it being unpredictable like the past shows. And, the new cameras are a treat.

Game is silky smooth. It stuttered a lot during the installation but it is a lot better now. Cutscenes do seem to drop below 60fps. I posted this in the little things thread but the flags in the stadiums are dynamic. I'm playing in PNC right now and there is no wind and the flags are stagnant in a downward position like there is no wind.

The lighting in day games is really nice, but the night games look really dark in the outfield, stands and bleachers. To the point where it feels like the lights are off out there.
