No....default for now with a few adjustments....RP stamina...pickoffs(which it looks like they shut off in response to the cries that players were getting picked off too much ) and injury.

All the mainstays are the same.

....and I would say that most of those games are using Gen Counts. Perhaps two are full games.

Quick counts may be different, I'm playing full games. I'll wait for a larger sample size to draw a final conclusion but I'm seeing a lot of swinging strikes at pitches outside the zone and the most frequent animation is swinging strike three at a ball in the dirt which the catcher throws the batter out at first base.


At the moment it appears the change to discipline in an effort to generate more swinging strikes at bad pitches has had a spill over impact on the rest of the game. In mlbts13 I adjusted zero sliders other than wind and after around 500 games I had very realistic results.

I was definitely seeing a lack of offense for the first six or so innings when the starters where in the game. As soon as the relief pitchers came in the game, a few more runs were scored. But overall offense was still down from MLB 13.

I tried my own sliders (from MLB 13) and I tried some sliders from other people. Presently I am using small tweaks from nomo17k's MLB 14 slider recommendations. Here is what I have. Everything is on the default setting of 5 except for:

CPU Foul Frequency: 3
CPU Starter Stamina: 6
CPU Pitcher Control: 3
CPU Pitcher Consistency: 4
Pitch Speed: 10 (I don't think this is used in MoM)
Throwing Errors: 4
Fielder Run Speed: 3
Fielder Reaction: 4
Fielder Arm Strength: 1
Baserunner Speed: 4

Pretty much nomo17k's recommendations with minor tweaks.

I'm going to wait until I play 100 or more games and then crunch the numbers before I post my results and I am tracking "chased" totals for each game.

I seriously dislike tweaking sliders, especially since the game played perfectly fine last year but my early results indicate the change in discipline to induce more swings at bad pitches have had a negative impact on realism.
