So after changing my mind several times. I finally settled on a team. Its a team I knew little about because no national sports network talks about them.I picked a team I always advoided in the past. I knew i wanted a team that was decent, and one I could make better with some tweaks. What team am I?
The Arizona Diamondbacks I like Bronson Arroyo and Mark Trumbo and did not know Arizona picked them up till i started up the Show and saw them. They got good pitching prospects in the Minors as well.
I am off to a 5-0 start with the Diamondbacks, playing every game.
Cubs defeat St Louis 2-0. Jason Hammel with a complete game shutout to earn his second win of the season. Cubs are now at 14-14. Hammel was dominat from the get go as he allowed only 4 hits, 0 BB, only 3 SO, but had 2 doubles, I was keeping the St Louis hitters off balance except for Taveras who had 2 hits. Mike Olt provided the only offense for the Cubs finishing 1-4 with a 2 run double in the 6th. Next up Travis Wood (2-3 3.45) vs Wainwright (3-1 1.32)
After starting off my Phillies season 0-4, I have settled down to win the next 4 games straight taking 2 of 3 from the Cubs, and the first 2 games of the series so far with the Brewers. The offense has finally started to come around, and the pitching has been very good during the winning streak. After 8 games, the Phillies stand at 4-4 and in 3rd place in the NL East. Marlon Byrd, by far, has been the Phillies hottest hitter during the 4 game winning streak. Here are the scores from the first 8 games.

I will update my progress through 10 games with the Rays later on.
We continued to struggle a bit in July. We went 11-14 and lost 8 in a row at one point. Luckily the tigers were just as bad and we were able to pick up another game on them.
Almost nothing at all happened at the trade deadline. CPU teams kept trying to make ridiculous trades. Phillies did trade Cole Hamels to the A;s for Matt Olson, Raul Alcantara and Max Muncy. I decided not to trade Shields since we have been struggling a bit. We will see if it was worth it or not.
Pitching was pretty much crap. Shields was 1-4 with an ERA over 6. Vargas was 0-1 with an ERA over 5.50. Ventura realized he was a rookie and went 1-3 and gave up 16 earned runs.
Hitting continues to slowly improve overall. Aoki's AVG has fallen to .284. Dyson continues to do well replacing Cain. He is hitting .286 and has 18 stolen bases. Butler has his AVG up to .268 and leads the team in both HR and RBI.

In AAA, Kyle Zimmer has now had 6 starts and is 2-1 with a 3.12 ERA and 49 strikeouts in 40.1 innings. John Lamb lost his first game finally. Jason Donald replaced Ciriaco after he was called up. He is hitting .325 in 40 at bats.
In AA, Dozier and Starling have fallen off a bit. Bubba's AVG is down to .271 Still leads the team in HR and RBI. Sean Manaea has his ERA down to 3.52 And Brian Brickhouse is 5-0 with a 1.34ERA in 18 games and 7 starts replacing Kyle Zimmer.
Starting Pitching - Scott Feldman started the season as my #1 starter, but Jarred Cosart is my best pitcher. He has 12 starts, a 4.24 ERA and a 5-3 record. He's still struggling with his control (45 K's and 39 BB's), but he'll be my #1 soon. Feldman has been solid this season, he just can't get consistent run support. Oberholtzer and Peacock have been serviceable. Dallas Keuchel is awfully close to losing his spot. In AAA, Paul Clemens is posting a 2.55 ERA with a 6-4 record. Asher Wojciechowski has worked his way up to AAA, I'll be keeping my eye on him. In AA, Mike Foltynewicz is pitching extremely well. He's looking to move up. Mark Appel started off struggling a little bit, but he's been very solid his past few starts.
Relief Pitching - Chad Qualls has appeared in 17 games and has 14 saves. Josh Fields has been my best middle relief guy, posting a 1.90 ERA and a 0.89 WHIP in 20 appearances. Jerome Williams is in my bullpen at the moment. He has a 1.70 ERA in 17 appearances. I'm going to start working him into my rotation and see how he does. I'll be looking to move him at the deadline, most likely.
Catcher - Jason Castro is hitting .282 with 5 HRs and 21 RBI's. He's having a difficult time finding runners on base when he comes up to the plate. Carlos Corpororan broke his shin early in the season, so I moved up Max Stassi. He's only appeared in 7 games so far, but he's hitting .423. Tyler Heineman is hitting very well in AA with a .333 average, 3 HR's, and 14 RBI's.
Infield - Matt Dominguez is leading our team in AVG and RBIs hitting .300 with 10 HR's and 42 RBI's (tied for 8th in the AL). He's absolutely KILLING the ball right now. Chris Carter has had a ton of ups and downs. He had a 10 game stretch where he only got 3 hits, but now he's stroking the ball, hitting .252 with 15 HR's (6th in the AL) and 38 RBI's. He is also leading the AL in walks with 39. Jose Altuve is struggling at the plate pretty bad right now, hitting .225 with 6 HR's and 15 RBI's, he's leading the AL in Stole Bases though, with 14. Shortstop is a major hole right now. Villar and Gonzalez are doing nothing at the plate. In the minors, Jon Singleton is right on the cusp of maybe getting the call-up with Guzman struggling. I'm going to leave him down there right now, but we'll see if he can continue his tear at the plate. Carlos Correa is struggling in AA a little bit. He's still got a long way to go.
Outfield - Dexter Fowler is leading my OFs with a .278 AVG, 5 HR's, and 19 RBI's. George Springer is hitting .236 with 5 HR's and 22 RBI's. Presley has been serviceable in that 3rd OF spot, but I'm going to have to find another guy. L.J. Hoes has been HORRIFIC this season. In the minors, Domingo Santana is hitting .260 with 8 HR's and 28 RBI's in AAA. Delino DeShields has been injured for quite a bit of the season, but he's hitting .265 with 8 RBI's and 8 SB's.
In an attempt to find that 3rd OF of the future, I drafted a LF named Rene Feliz in the first-year draft. He's already got very solid hitting ability. He could potentially be on the fast-track to the Majors once I actually have him on my roster.
Through 16 games I am currently 13-3 with my cardinals. I'm using quick counts and dynamic difficulty(all star for both pitching and hitting). I called up Taveras to start the season and he's already hit 5 home runs. Surprisingly, Molina is only hitting around .130; I can't for the life of me catch a break with him. My offense as a whole is only batting around .265 but I only have a team Era of 1.80. My pitching has shut down everyone I've faced so far, hopefully it lasts!
Just beat St. Louis 5-2. Wood pitches 6 innings 2 runs 5 SO. Vera's recorded his 9th save to start the season. SchierholtZ hit his 4th home run of the year a 2 run shot to give the cubs a 3-0 lead after a rizzo sac fly. Lake chipped in an RBI double and bonofacio had 2 triples and an RBI. I am now 15-14
Everyone except rizzo, wood, Castro, are avaliable to be traded.
I do however want to keep rondon and strop as I am pretty good with those two, rondon has an era of like 1.46 and strop has yet to allow a run and he will be my closer probably if and when I trade Veras.
So I started my Angels franchise, and I'm 3-6 the second week of April. I traded Trout to the Cards for a lion's share worth of pitching and a couple position players. The two big pieces I got were Michael Wacha and Kevin Siegrist. The Angels really need pitching, and have plenty of offense, even without Trout. It was hard to trade him, but it is a video game after all, and I wanted to see what I could do without him.
