Pink field?

This only happened once out of three games I played, but it's a little worrisome.

Yankees @ Mariners. Paxton vs. Tanaka. Quick Counts on.

To my horror, when I started this game, I saw that the field and the players were pink.



Not the best picture, but you get the idea. It wasn't my television.

Anyone know why? Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere.

I've seen this before on consoles over the years. I think it was a problem with the cable/connector each time it happened.

I've played about 20 full games when something like this just happened.

It wasn't pink but black, where some parts of the stadium and players etc were blacked out with weird lines.

Happened In a franchise game at marlins park when I was using player lock.

Luckily it blacked out the HR statue.
Still
a little concerning but I have played the game since Friday with no issue other than that one time.

FYI, graphic corruption can be a sign your console is dying. I'm not saying it could go at any minute. Just don't be too surprised if it doesn't turn on one day.

This happened to Nick Livingston on Sunday night during his live stream. It was weird textural things. He said it was a bug obviously. He went to the bug reports website right after.

Just been pinked out too.

Its nothing to do with the PS4 dying, just a very rare textures bug as has been said, so worry not

Had the same thing happen to me last night in a couple of RttS games. It seems to clear up the next time a game loads.

I had it happen last weekend, during a live stream (but it was cyan in color)... funny thing it, was ok on my screen but watching and commenting on my phone I could see what the audience was seeing. I restarted the stream, and it went back to normal.

I did have a black out happen once on my TV though. It is definitely a bug, and I reported it along with video and system screenshots. It seemed to only last for 1 game in RTTS. Next game, everything was back to normal.

I had something similar happen when I booted up my first game on Saturday afternoon. Instead of pink, it was black. The player's eyes were all black holes too which was really creepy looking. Haha. Exited the game and restarted and all was fine and has been since.

I just bought this PS4 yesterday so I hope that's not the case.

It's not don't worry. It's just a bug. Once you back out and go back in it goes away. No need to worry.
